Soverin joins The Sharing Group

Since our very beginning, Soverin has worked on a single mission: giving people and organizations full control over their own data. For us, privacy and digital sovereignty are not opportunistic buzzwords, but core values we build on every single day.

Today, we are taking an important step in that mission: Soverin is joining The Sharing Group, a collective of companies that use technology to empower people and society. Their core values—trust, collaboration, and social impact—align seamlessly with our own principles.

A changing digital landscape

The digital world is shifting. Big Tech’s power continues to grow, while geopolitical tensions and new regulations increase the demand for independent European alternatives. Digital sovereignty is no longer a niche concern—it is a strategic necessity for companies, governments, and citizens alike.

In this momentum, we want to grow faster, smarter, and more sustainably. By combining scale with focus, we can not only reach more users, but also enhance quality, innovation, security, and transparency.

What does this mean for our customers?

Absolutely nothing… except that everything gets better.

Our name, our team, and our commitment to privacy and independence remain unchanged. What will change is this:

• More power for innovation – Faster delivery of new features and improvements.

• Stronger infrastructure – Better performance and even greater reliability.

• Greater impact – A stronger European alternative to Big Tech.

Why this step?

To not only keep up but stay ahead as an independent European alternative, scale and collaboration are essential.

With The Sharing Group, we gain the ability to:

• Expand our infrastructure more rapidly

• Accelerate innovation

• Grow sustainably, with respect for people and planet

• Reach more individuals and organizations choosing privacy and control over their own data

Together towards a strong, independent digital future

The Sharing Group is a family of mission-driven technology companies that, like us, believe technology should serve people. By joining forces, we are making a major step towards building a strong, independent, and leading European alternative to Big Tech. And we will do so in our way: privacy-first, sovereign, transparent, and trustworthy.

We look forward to making even more impact together. Read more in the press release.

For our customers, nothing changes.

For the future: everything.
